Program March 18 – Denise Klinger PADCO
PADCO: Pottsville Area Development Corporation is a certified nonprofit economic development agency that continues to drive revitalization, business growth, and community investment across Pottsville. In 2025, PADCO achieved Certified Economic Development Agency status, expanded access to funding through major grant applications, and launched new initiatives like the SEAL (Schuylkill Entrepreneur & Leadership) Program and Launch Pottsville III.
Key projects such as the Creek District and the $5+ million Miners 1928 Hotel are expected to boost tourism, attract investment, and enhance downtown vibrancy, while PADCO’s $1.7 million revolving loan fund continues to support local businesses and nonprofits. Looking ahead to 2026, PADCO is focused on securing the Main Street Matters designation—a five-year program that brings funding, training, and strategic support to strengthen downtowns—while advancing redevelopment projects, expanding entrepreneurship programs, and increasing community engagement through events like the Pottsville Film Festival and Schuylkill Stampede Rodeo.
With strong partnerships and growing momentum, PADCO invites community members, including Rotary, to stay involved, support local initiatives, and help shape the future of Pottsville.
