What is Rotary?
Rotarians are business and professional leaders who take an active role in their communities while greatly enriching their personal and professional lives.
Rotary International has a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and leaders who volunteer their skills and resources to address community needs.
Over 46,000 local Rotary clubs operate in more than 200 countries and regions, with about 1.2–1.4 million members commonly known as Rotarians.
Our mission
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Vision statement
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
What We Do In Our Community.
For over 111 years, the Pottsville Rotary Club has been providing Community Service.
When you partner with Pottsville Rotary, you’re helping power real outcomes, like:
*Supporting youth and education through recognition programs and opportunities
*Helping local causes thrive through fundraising and hands-on involvement
*Building community pride through events and projects that bring people together
We don’t just talk about impact -we organize it.
The Rotary Four WAy Test
The test, which has been translated into more than 100 languages, asks the following questions:
Of the things we think, say or do...
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
